Good & Evil

This was just something I saw in my Aunt's blog. It was somewhere on Reader's digest. I loved it because it was completely true and honest and please take the time to read it.

'One evening an old Cherokee told his grandson about a battle that goes on inside people.
He said, "My son, the battle is between 2 wolves. One is Evil. It is anger, envy, sorrow, regret, greed, arrogance, self-pity, guilt, resentment, inferiority, lies, false pride, superiority and ego. The other is God. It is joy, peace, love, hope, serenity, humility, kindness, benevolence, empathy, generosity, truth, compassion, and faith."
The grandson thought about it for a minute and then asked his grandfather, "Which wolf wins?"
The old Cherokee simply replied, "The one you feed."'

Death will come

This post is dedicated to my dearest parents. They'll always live in my heart.
There was a stage in my life where my life nearly ended. Just 11 years ago, I suffered from choking. My lungs collapsed, my air way got blocked and my brain didn't receive any oxygen. But it wasn't a miracle that saved me. It was my parents. That is why this is dedicated to them. I guess it was all luck then? If my parents took out the "thing" that was in my air way 30 seconds later, then I will not be alive.

I must not take this for granted. You'll never know when you'll die. You may not realize it but every moment of your life, you're taking risks. Every time you sleep, you're taking a risk because you'll never know if you'll ever wake up. So live your life as if there was no tomorrow. Imagine that today is your last day on earth. Think about all the good things you've done. How would you like it, if the last thing you ever did with someone or something was something not good?

Anyway, be happy with what you've got. If you haven't got much, at least you've got something. Be grateful, for everything in life, even if it's bad because you'll learn from it;whether if it's not to repeat something or never to do it again. And be happy, because you're alive and TODAY is the most important day in the world because it is not the past or the future and you're living it, right now.

My first post

Dear all,

This is my first post and I'd be sharing some of my thoughts on life;the difficulties and the easiness. I'm Buddhist so when I'm writing, I'll be writing true to my faith. I'm a lot younger than any of you think. In fact, I'm only in primary school. But age will never stop me. I will never give up. I want to share my thoughts with everyone. Writing is my inspiration and I'll never give it up. I want my writing to exist somewhere where someone may or may not see it.
So I thought maybe I should give it a go. I've got nothing to lose. I write because I want my writing to be alive somewhere. I don't want to kill my thoughts. I encourage everyone to write.
